Lisa M. Young graduated from the University of South Florida and went on to graduate from Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham, Alabama. She is licensed to practice law in both Georgia, (1988) and Florida, (1992).
She began her career as an Assistant District Attorney in the Atlantic Judicial Division of Georgia. Later she moved to Orlando and joined a commercial litigation practice.
In 1995, Lisa became an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Florida and served in the Economic Crimes Division and as legal counsel for the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit.
Lisa was also appointed as a Special Assistant United States Attorney for the Middle District of Florida in the Asset Forfeiture and Write Collar Crimes divisions aiding in the largest forfeitures in the district to date.
Presently, her practice is focused on insurance defense and civil litigation.
Lisa is Preeminent AV Martindale-Hubbell rated and is consistently named to the Top Lawyer and Top Woman Lawyers by Orlando Home and Leisure and Orlando magazines.
